Oye Como Va by The Latin All Stars - Latin Mod Cha Cha 45 on Roper Records #500 It really looks like a nothing record, especially after looking through tons of square dance records that looked exactly like this one. I see Latin All Stars and the title, "Oye Como Va" and Tito Puente as the writer so I was definitely going to play it. I didn't know it at that moment but it turns out that Tito Puente wrote the song that Carlos Santana would bring to world wide fame. It's so much fun to discover, then share with you, some of the interesting history that comes out of being willing to dig through thousands of records. Sometimes digging through boxes for hours at a time. Enjoy!
