Daily Discovery - How Much Is That Doggie In The Window by Baby Jane & The Rockabyes. Killer R&B Soul. I had never heard this before today so of course I am expecting the 50's Pop tune then came a big surprise, a driving beat with the Girl Group vocals lead by a deep voiced male then again backed by the high pitched girls. WOW! When I look at the label again I realize it was arranged by legend Teacho Wiltshire, of Tin Pan Alley, Prestige, Savoy in 50's & Okeh Records in 60's Soul Chicago I am sure that is only a small part of his repertoire. That explains the killer feel to this little gem I discovered today.
