When I put the needle to this record, little did I know I would hear what you are about to hear. The classic Teen Doowop from Rosie & The Originals, done by guys! When I was 16 I remember thinking I was done, I had heard everything. Little did I know at that moment in time that I would still be discovering and unearthing gems like this 17 years later, something so new yet so familiar. (Not Just) Knee Deep was sampled by a slew of legendary rappers and hip hop artists including De La Soul, LL Cool J, EPMD, Digital Underground, Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy, Ice Cube, 2Pac and most recently by Black Eyed Peas.
